About

The Creator

Fiona Giselle is the youngest daughter of the late professional astrologer Robert P. Blaschke. She is a second generation astrologer, aspiring author, and interdisciplinary artist from the Pacific Northwest. As of June 2026 she will obtain her Associates of Arts in English.

Fiona’s work moves through myth, memory, and the mystical terrain of her inner world. In all she does, she aims to explore the tension between longing and becoming, using the art of narratives for personal reflection and profound revelation.

Inspired through her father’s career, she focuses her studies towards the realm of Esoteric Astrology techniques by reviewing lectures and texts by Alan Leo, Dane Rudhyar, and Stephen Arroyo. She hopes to encourage those with intense personal histories that there is a divine purpose for all, and sees the language of Astrology as a helpful tool in articulating that message.

Philosophy

Philosophy & Approach

  • Emotional intelligence and study of the esoteric to reflect astrology's ancient narratives
  • Focus on relational dynamics and inner patterning
  • Inclusive of all relationship structures and identities
Fiona's astrological methods are not about prediction or instruction. In her work, Fiona aims to name what is already present, understand why it arises, spend time observing the pattern and thus co-collaborate with clients to integrate more conscious responses.

Art Practice

Debut Piece: Scriptum ex Anima ~ Written from the Soul

I couldn’t ignore the mystery and magic of all of this, and so these converging mediums:graphic design, history, astrology, devotion, illuminated manuscripts, and ritual formed thefoundation of my project.

Medium: Tracing Paper, Mechanical Pencil, Ink, and Felt Tip Marker inside Antique Book
Inspired by: Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry (1413 A.D.)
Participation: Sacred Objects Show at AVA Gallery
Intention: Seeking the mystery and magic, and the myths behind them all.

Artist Statement:
Through my own eyes, I am a writer first, a second generation astrologer, and consider
my artistry to be last on the list.
Placing art on the page, words or symbolism or otherwise, is a devotional practice in its own right.

Books of Hours were designed to guide reflection through time, anchoring prayer and contemplation to the rhythms of the day.
One description calls them "a splendid compromise between mysticism and aesthetic, duty and pleasure, meditation and a free run of imagination (Cazelles, 1988)."

This project has been rejuvenating rain, or maybe a seed. In entering the art history world, I’ve begun illuminating my own artistic perspective of my own history. Truthfully, to name that I am an artist, not just in thought, but in form and ritual, is to reclaim what once felt
unreachable.

This statement, like the manuscript it reflects, is a first page in a longer book still unfolding.
Thank you for listening.
